Talend selected by BF&M for data migration project(Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Talend, a provider of open source middleware solutions, announced yesterday that Bermuda insurance group BF&M has chosen its open source data management solution. The Talend Integration Suite was used to streamline BF&M’s data migration between systems and was expected to reduce the time and improve the performance of migrating and maintaining constantly changing customer service databases and underwriting policies for a range of insurance products. Talend was deployed to drive a system replacement project that involved moving and maintaining the data from a legacy AS/400 application to the new Wynsure system.
