MedSynergies Announces Additions to Growing Consulting Services Management Team

MedSynergies
Inc., the leading provider of hospital-physician
alignment solutions, today announced the addition of two
managing directors, Aaron Garinger and Amy Hartt, to its consulting
services team. In their new roles, Garinger and Hartt will support the
company's commitment to strategically aligning health care organizations
for optimal business performance.

MedSynergies' consulting services department is focused on conducting
critical assessments of prospective and existing client health care
organizations, including physician group practices and hospital-owned
physician practices, and providing them with a blueprint to thrive and
secure a competitive position in the marketplace.

Both Garinger and Hartt join the MedSynergies team as managing directors
of consulting services. In this role, Garinger will draw upon
more than 20 years of experience to lead the company's clinical
integration consulting services and products to support Patient-Centered
Medical Home and Accountable Care Organization development.
Garinger most recently served as vice president of electronic records
and IT for Baylor Health Care System's medical group, where he was
responsible for the strategy and execution of the electronic health
record clinical transformation initiatives.
Prior to his role at Baylor, Garinger was the vice present for a health
care claims management and outsourcing services vendor servicing payor
and Third-Party Administrator organizations. His past experience also
includes founding a health care consulting organization and leading
health care engagements with First Consulting Group (now CSC (News - Alert)). Garinger
received a bachelor's degree in finance from Purdue University.
Hartt joins MedSynergies to lead the financial advisory services
and Management Services Organization strategy development to expand
MedSynergies' portfolio to meet the demands of an evolving industry.
During more than 20 years in the industry, Hartt has led many successful
in-patient and ambulatory revenue cycle management engagements and other
non-labor assessments. She has successfully implemented operational
efficiency programs resulting in multimillion dollar savings for her
hospital clients.
Previously, Hartt served as director of non-labor practice at
Wellspring+Stockamp, where she was responsible for project management
and annual recurring expense reduction for acute care hospitals and
integrated health care systems. She has also held executive-level
positions at VHA Texas, Inc. and Southwest Insurance Services.
Hartt is a graduate of George Mason University, where she earned a
bachelor's degree in psychology. She received her master's degree in
business administration from the Baylor University Hankamer School of
Business.
