Bill.com Raises Bar for Electronic Invoicing

A new set of electronic billing features introduced by Bill.com help businesses and accountants make it easier than ever for their customers to pay their bills, online or offline.

Users can leverage the Bill.com ’s Accounts Receivable (AR) update to send printed bills to their customers via U.S. mail. The company claims that this is made possible below the cost of what a typical company would invest in printing, stuffing and mailing invoices to its clients.

According to a release, users of Bill.com users can benefit from a range new accounts receivable features.

Included in the invoice is a Quick Response or QR code, which lets recipient to scan the QR with any smartphone and link directly into their Bill.com Payment Portal.

Bill.com has also enabled complete AR integration with established accounting software solutions, and is enabling users to set up one-time or recurring charges on behalf of their customers.

Also, integrated document sharing and collaboration allows customers to view invoices online.

It is easy to use these services as Bill.com is giving the option to mail printed bills to their customers via the United States Postal Service, with a single mouse click. Bill.com users can thus receive payments faster from customers who have not yet adopted paperless solutions.
